2. Swap your old laser head rod, (we will only accept a rod that needs to be Polished, not a broken one).
3. Send us your laser head rod and we will polish and recoat it for you.

Candela Laser GentleLase Plus Rod Information

There are numerous reasons why you may need to replace the laser rod. The rod may be broken due to mishandling or excessive water pressure build up or a leak in the laser head. Dust particles anywhere in the laser head, the optics, or the rod itself can cause the laser head rod to burn entirely over time. This is why we are so adamant that the environment in which the laser will be kept is spotlessly clean.
